Desarrolla su trabajo desde una perspectiva interdisciplinaria en donde prevalece la dimensión socio-antropológica del arte e incorpora ejes de investigación-acción experimental vinculados a la transformación social. Cuenta con numerosas publicaciones, entre las más recientes encontramos los libros colectivos Feminismos Visuales y Raíces Suspendidas. Estéticas y narrativas migrantes desde una perspectiva de género (ambos en ediciones de la Universidad de Guadalajara 2018).
