Gracias a sus gestiones se realizaron obras como el "Hospital Real de San Miguel de Belén" (hoy viejo Hospital Civil) y la Real y Literaria Universidad de Guadalajara. Su visión de buen urbanista fue evidente en la construcción del barrio y Santuario de Guadalupe."
